In Germany you do not need a driver’s license for watercrafts with less than 15 horsepower. No drivers licence is therefore required for riding a Lampuga board in Germany*.
Lampuga, as manufacturer has defined a minimum age of 18 years for the usage of its jetboards. However, the legal requirements of the country in which the board is used apply.

While calm water is optimal for riding a Lampuga board, the boards can be used in waves and it is possible to ride waves with the boards. Please note that there is an additional risk of personal injury and damaging the boards when used in waves.
You can easily assemble and disassemble the Lampuga Air in less than five minutes. Aside from the pump, which is included in the scope of delivery, no other tools are needed.
The power supply for charging the batteries should be 7 Ampere and 230-volt with a minimum of 1,5kW. While this power-supply is not provided in standard cars, it should not be a problem to charge the batteries in most larger-sized boats, where more powerful generators are standard.
Yes, it is possible to extend your boards’ running time by using an additional battery. In comparison with other board systems where a build-in-battery is used, Lampuga features a simple plug-and-play battery system that allows for a fast battery change. By using an additional battery, you can more than double your boards daily running time. Please note that the riding style and weight of the user, as well as the weather conditions (wind, waves) influence the battery’s running time.

The Lampuga Air is currently approved for sale in the EU market and also complies with the relevant EU directives in the form of the CE declaration of conformity. Any necessary registration or certification in additional markets outside the EU is in progress, and the development of new markets is planned for 2021/2022.
