Line Emilie Brink Andersen - 11 days We had a wonderful stay at this campsite – the cabins are fantastic, and the overall area is very well-maintained and enjoyable. It’s a lovely place for a holiday.
However, there were several things that could be improved. First, I was surprised to find that you have to pay to use the chairs by the beach and at one of the pools – this feels unnecessary and somewhat unfair since it’s already quite an expensive camping.
The restaurant also doesn’t open until 12:00 PM, which is not ideal when traveling with small children. Even worse, it’s not possible to pre-order food to be ready at opening time, meaning you have to come back again to place your order. You can’t even buy an ice cream earlier in the day.
We also had to ask three times before finally receiving a high chair, which was frustrating.
The beach bar has extremely slow service, and overall, the service level throughout the campsite is quite poor – something that unfortunately brought down the experience for us.
All in all, it’s a beautiful campsite with great potential, but the service and practical details need significant improvement to match the quality of the surroundings.
Ssorteuka - about 1 month The best resort I’ve ever stayed in!! (And I travel a lot). Modern, clean, well organised, easy to access, extremely pet friendly. After we arrived we were greeted by amaaaazing and lovely Antonio who helped us with our luggage being transported to Amber Sea Village house. Antonio is 10/10 staff member there, ready to help, always smiling, polite and kind. Highly recommend that person (you can spot him driving aroung on his electric car). Please send him our greetings! At the end of our stay we were helped by Zoran. What a lovely guy! Talkative, friendly and super kind. Very respectful. During the stay we felt safe and blessed. Delicious food, seaside bar, dog’s beach, dog’s area, supermarket.. all you need for perfect stay! Greetings from London 🩷

Morgan Merklin - about 2 months Family friendly, great activities and beautiful walks. But bring your own toilet paper if you stay more then 4 days.
Michael Kaandorp - 10 months The campsite is nice. It's pretty big and a bit crowded. You have everything located on the campsite. Also a really nice supermarket with high prices, but that's normal on a camping.
The other comments actually already say everything that needs to be said. The overall experience is really nice, if you like large and busy campings. Every night there is live music. Once or twice a week would also be fine for us. We had a comfort pitch which should be 90m2. It's really not. I measured some of the pitches and they're around 60-70m2. Some of them have trees on them as well. And some pitches are extremely uneven. We have a tent but the front of the tent was touching the roadside. This meant that if a car or caravan comes by you need to pull in your chairs or table for them to pass by. You also have to sit on the road if you don't want to sit in your tent. There is also close to no room to park your car as the entrance roads are also extremely small.
We also looked at the bigger pitches, but they all seem to be a lot smaller than advertised. The newer pitches seemed bigger, but have gravel ground, which is not suitable for tents. It just feels extremely compact. A bit too compact. There also was no small grass field nearby to do a simple game or temporary park the car. Every inch is filled. I understand this from an economical point of view, but I rather pay a bit more and have some more space.
As frequently mentioned, the showers are cold all the time. For the men there seems to be enough space, but at the woman's showers there were always queues. If you don't shower at rush hour it's fine though.
Everything feels really expensive. It was our first time in Croatia and coming from The Netherlands we thought that we were already used to high prices. But it's quite annoying that everything is really expensive and for most things you need to pay extra. Sport facilities, trampoline, floating things in the water and even the sun beds at the pool!
If you want an affordable and really good dinner, just go out the gates for 30 meter and have dinner at the restaurants there. For 50-60 euros we had a dinner with drinks for four people. And the quality was great!
It's a great place, a bit crowded, but an excellent place for a vacation with children.
Positives:
- Mobile home: Clean, well equipped, air conditioning, TV
- Common rooms: quite new, clean, cleaned regularly.
- Services: there is almost everything you need, bakery, supermarket, restaurants, ice cream, water sports, sports facilities, rental facilities
- Animators entertain a lot of programs, with a great atmosphere. Teen disco every night
- There is a concert/live music every evening on the beach, very atmospheric!
- Film screening on Sunday evenings on the beach.
- There are several pools in the park. The kids loved it.
- Breakfast: buffet breakfast is plentiful, very tasty
- The waiters in the restaurants are polite and speak English.
Negatives:
- The prices of the supermarket, restaurants and services in the campsite are very high, everything costs 25-30% more than in Novigrad. It is worth doing your big shopping in an outdoor Lidl, Konzum or Spar supermarket.
- Smoking. Unfortunately, about every second person smokes. If you don't smoke and tobacco smoke bothers you, you have to choose where you sit very carefully in restaurants, as there is no "non smoking zone". The wind usually blows from the sea. They will easily light a cigarette next to you at the table, if you are standing in line at the ice cream stand, or on the sightseeing train sitting in front of you.
