Very simple, easy onewheel XR rental. Find the shop further down with banners, different than Google location. You can also ask the pier office. Provided only helmet, no wrist guards or pads, and no option to adjust tire pressure. XR had a nice Hoosier tire though. I was told it closes at 6pm unlike what it says on Google. 60 euro with a fast charger is a decent deal for such a nice location. Not much recommended to ride around, but no big deal. Barcelona is a beautiful city to ride. The whole city feels like a bike lane. Try to join a bike tour that will let you onewheel. Highly recommend doing the Ronda Verde Loop, especially the ocean walk, Park Collserola, and Montjuic. 40+ miles total, so you'll need to charge a few times. Search online for the route path, but it's a decently marked Greenway. Make sure to charge before acsending Coserolla, but it's a beautiful ascent. There's a quaint restaurant at the top to charge and eat. Asador Casa Juaco. Make sure not to exceed 90% battery or else you'll have to ride around to prevent too much battery regen. Thanks for an epic adventure!
Reserved through the website for a OneWheel pint rental, but when we arrived at the location it was completely empty. After 15 minutes of waiting and trying to contact through the phone and whatsapp provided, we got no response at all. Edit: turns out the website was faulty, and the calendar wasn't up to date. Since then, they've already fixed it and refunded our money, but we still had to go all the way from Terrassa just to wait for nothing. Wish it would have been a better experience.
Awesome place to rent a Onewheel in Barcelona... if it is open. The first experience was awesome. The possibility of renting a OW during the weekend is a great plus (the store is closed but you pick it up in a rental place nearby). Then I decided to buy a OW. I thought that buying it locally would be nice for everyone. I was wrong. The store is closed, no one responds to my messages on FB. I wanted to spend 2000 euros. I think I will go somewhere else though.
Unsatisfying experience with this company. Directions were hard if you’re not from the area as the marina is a big place. Then when I get there they tell me that the tour I reserved for months ago is unavailable all of a sudden. They could have told me the day before when it broke. So now I walked an hour in the hot sun for the next best thing. And even then that’s expensive. But they say they’ll take videos and pictures I was excited for that so I said okay. The videos on his phone we’re horrible and barely any. They were super short, horrible quality and moving around everywhere which is weird seeing as the boat he’s on was still. Wish he would have been off his phone and focused on his one client at the time. Not worth it with this company.
Sooooo much fun!!! Jetsurf had been on my bucket list of things to do and it was incredible… like a feeling of flying above water… and then stacking it 🤣 The guy who took us out was super lovely and so great with advice for which option of equipment was best for me and techniques to get the most out of the experience. He also kept my hung over friend entertained whist I played on the water. Can’t thank him or recommend enough.
