In cooperation with the Surf & SUP School Timmendorfer Strand, a test drive event was offered in August 2022. Where windsurfers, stand-up paddlers and other water sports enthusiasts usually cavort, Lampuga was able to arouse great interest with its jetboards. Already in the run-up, many interested people registered for a test ride. After the first rides on the water were successfully completed, the attention of the stand visitors was aroused, so that the remaining limited tickets were booked up in no time.
The test riders were impressed by the performance of the Lampuga Air, but especially how quickly even absolute beginners without much previous experience could enjoy the riding fun. Especially the performance of our Lampuga Air with a top speed of 50 km/ left the test riders very enthusiastic. The rental staff of the surf school, on the other hand, were impressed by the simplicity of the battery exchange. While the test riders were back on the water with a full battery, the Lampuga Air batteries were recharged in 1 ½ hours. So our team was in constant use this weekend from morning until evening (gladly!) and was pleased with the positive response and the large crowd. Even in light waves, the test riders were impressed by the handling of the Lampuga Air. Once again, it has been proven that the Lampuga AIR is ideally suited for use in the rental business.
